A magnificent and very detailed, original antique copper engraving depicting the famous Raid on Chatham, one of the greatest victories in Dutch military history. The print shows the successful capture and naval battle by the Dutch State Fleet led by Admiral Michiel de Ruyter of English warships and shipyards in June 1667.

- Condition: Very good. Ample margins, slightly frayed on the bottom left. Folds as issued (normal for prints from an atlas or book). Verso (back) is blank.

Historical Context
This print is a visual record of a crucial moment during the Second Anglo-Dutch War.
