Large Silver Flower Brooch – Niekerk Bros. Schoonhoven – 835 Silver

A brooch that deserves to be seen. This generous silver brooch is completely openwork and features a rich floral design of flowers, leaves, and elegantly curling branches. Its large size and refined detailing give the piece a beautiful, almost botanical appearance.

The flowers are crafted with a high degree of relief. Especially up close, you can see how much care went into the design: fine veins in the leaves, detailed flower centers, and various flower shapes beautifully distributed across the entire brooch.

The brooch is made of 835 silver and bears the Dutch silver hallmark in the form of the sword. It also carries the maker's mark crown above an N, with 10 underneath, the maker's mark of Gebr. Niekerk from Schoonhoven. This maker's mark was used from 1970 onwards.

With its width of 6.8 cm, this is a striking piece of jewelry. Wear it on a jacket, blazer, wool sweater, or beautiful blouse, for example. The openwork silver comes into its own particularly well on a simple outfit.
