Vintage Wall Tile in 18th-Century Style – Dutch Warship with Sails Full

Imagine the salty sea air, the creaking of wooden masts and the boundless pride of the Dutch fleet that ruled the world's oceans. This hand-painted tile opens a tangible window into our glorious maritime history. This little masterpiece is an ode to Dutch glory, captured in ceramic and surrounded by the warm character of a rustic wooden frame.

This decorative wall tile is a masterfully crafted reproduction of a classic Delft example. At its centre is a powerful hand-painted warship (three-masted ship of the line), an iconic motif that recalls the maritime power of the Dutch Republic. The corners are decorated with the traditional blue 'spin' pattern, giving the tile the authentic appearance of the precious 18th-century originals.

The back of the tile bears a characteristic factory mark (asterisk), typical of high-quality Dutch earthenware factories from the mid-20th century. The tile features a beautiful, fine craquelé in the glaze, giving the piece a lived-in and authentic 'vintage look'. Housed in a sturdy oak frame, this piece is ready to take a prominent place on your wall.
